Thank you for your interest in joining the Tangamente (T) Team.

 

We understand a great group of talents and kind hearts is an essential part of creating a magical experience. We are looking for people who are passionate about Tango and wish to be a part of this exciting new event in San Francisco. 

​

Please read below and if you're still interested, please follow the instruction at the bottom of this page.

Here are some of the roles you can take part in:

 

  • Setup / takedown (physical work)

  • Front Desk (check-in desk/ private lesson scheduling)

  • Kitchen (food prep / water / cleanup)

  • Role Balance & workshop check-ins

  • Milonga host / hostess (welcome attendees, oversee the floor) 

  • Child Care 

  • Driver (assisting teachers with transport and supply run) 

 

Most tasks are designed in shifts of 2hrs

We'll send out more detailed instructions as it gets closer to the event.

 

What is required:

​

  • There will be one mandatory all team members meeting on (date and location to be announced) in San Francisco. If you are joining us from out of town, we will do our best to ensure you know your responsibilities, schedule, etc

  • A minimum of eight work hours (4 shifts) guarantee you a Dance pass ($180 value)

  • A minimum of 16 work hours (8 shifts) guarantees you a Full pass ($360 value)

  • If you want to work more, you may choose to do so.

  • Be a team player with a friendly, positive attitude, punctuality, respect for other members, and good communication. 

  • Please commit to helping us promote Tangamente!

What we offer:

​

  • To join T Team, we ask you to purchase the discount staff pass ($160 for Dance
    Pass or     $305 for the Full Pass), then we'll pay you for the shifts that you worked. 

  • Pay/hr varies from $15 - $30, depending on the shift. 

  • Payout will take place within 2 days after the event is finished.
